OPEN HOUSE: Southern Colonial Home in Katy

I have had the privilege of meeting this lovely couple that has lived in this home since 2007. Rosie Costello fell in love with the columns on the home. She says to her she felt like she had been transported back to “Gone With The Wind.” This southern style colonial home is a unique home on the corner lot of Kelliwood Estates.

Kelliwood Estates is an established and exclusive neighborhood in Katy off of South Fry. She had to have the home once she saw it, so Louis her husband did the negotiations and bought his wife her dream home. Louis and Rosie then went to work and renovated the home. Bringing in custom pieces to showcase their unique personalities.

Like the chandelier that makes a statement when you walk into the home and the marble floors that look like they have been put in with love. Then there is the beautiful kitchen that has Viking appliances and custom features throughout. In fact, much of the work was done lovingly by Louis to make his “Sweet Lola” happy.

For the car lovers in all of us, Louis turned the garage into a custom show garage to show off his red 1970 Chevy. This is every car lover’s dream! The glass windows allow you to see into the garage inside of the home. Rossie says they had many parties in this room. I can see why!

Louis and Rosie are trying to sell this house by themselves so they can move on to their next home. So, we want to help this amazing couple by holding an Open House for them on June 16th from 1-4pm.

So, come by and enjoy some cheese and refreshments. Come look around, ask questions, see yourself living in this beautiful home. Come fall in love and make Louis and Rosie an offer!
