Published February 7th, 2019 by The Silmon Group

Valentine’s Day is around the corner. Ideally it's the time when you cuddle up with your sweetheart and woo them with all the skill you can muster to ensure a memorable evening.

There are plenty of creative ways to do that- but if you want to knock your sweethearts socks off with a meal at a luxurious restaurant, you are in the right place.

We've done our homework so we know that each of these ten Houston restaurants below come dressed to impress. They're guaranteed to make your date swoon.

Etoile Cuisines Bar

Our first stop offers French food at its best. Located in the Uptown development next to the Galleria and headed by Philippe Verpiand’s you'll be enticed by traditional French cuisine like duck leg confit, beef bordelaise, and braised short ribs.

Verpiand's vison for this restaurant is French food that is not heavy or pretentious. He accomplishes this by applying his throughly modern techniques to classical French plates.

Verpiand who is San Diego native, was born in the France and introduced to the world of cooking by his father. He later went to culinary school at the prestigious French culinary school of Avignon, where he learned the techniques which would later make his French restaurant in San Diego-and now Houston-famous.
